Welcome To The Magnolia House!
One of the most critical resources available to survivors of human trafficking is a safe house. And thanks to the incredible generosity and hard work of our donors, volunteers, and staff, Cry Freedom Missions now has two! We are thrilled to introduce you to the Magnolia House.
What Is A Safe House?
A safe house is a secure and supportive environment designed to help survivors of human trafficking rebuild their lives. It serves as a sanctuary, providing them with protection from traffickers and other potential threats. Beverly Weeks, CEO of Cry Freedom Missions, encourages survivors that healing often requires them to leave certain people, places, and things behind. A safe house is a refuge to do just that.
Why Did We Need A Second Home?
The survivors who enter our year-long program are leaving a life of bondage and addiction, one where they have been controlled by both substance and trafficker. In other words, they have been solely dependent on those who do not have their best interests in mind.
Our mission at Cry Freedom Missions is to walk with these survivors on their journey to healing and independence. Our new safe house is another stop on this journey. The Magnolia House is specifically for those who graduate from our long-term program. The focus of the home is independent living. They will live in the safe house for about a year after graduating from the program. Here they are taught how to appropriately budget, take care of themselves and their home, and other skills that will help them succeed after leaving the safe house.

Welcome To The Magnolia House!
The Magnolia House is a gorgeous 4000 square foot house with seven bedrooms, an office, a library, a dining room, a breakfast nook, a sunroom, and huge wrap around porch. Once all the renovations are complete, the home will have the capacity to house up to 13 survivors!
Highlighting Generosity
We are beyond grateful for the generosity of those who partnered with us to make this safe house possible. First and foremost, Flynn Christian Fellowship Home donated the entire house. You heard that right! We also want to give a huge shout out to Buddy Scott (general contractor), the sub-contractors, and the volunteers from The Bridge church who worked tirelessly on this project. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We could not have provided survivors with this refuge if it weren’t for you all.
“How Can I Help??”
There is still plenty of work to be done on the safe house! If you want to partner with us financially, visit our website! You can also apply to volunteer with Cry Freedom Missions. Simply fill out our volunteer form and we will reach out to you.
We strive to be good stewards of your time and money, and we hope you see that in this little sneak peek inside the Magnolia House!
